Framing up and need walls? We supply, hang and finish drywall for basements, renovations, additions and new builds. Board goes up straight, seams get taped and coated, everything gets sanded to a paint-ready finish. One crew from bare studs to primer-ready walls.
Here's exactly what happens when you hire us for drywall installation.
We measure the space, check the framing, note ceiling height and access, and quote a firm price. Quotes are always free and there's no obligation.
We work out board count, thickness and type, including moisture-resistant board for bathrooms and basements. Material can come from us or from you.
Board goes up on ceilings first, then walls. Sheets are cut tight around outlets, switches, windows and doors, and fastened properly so nothing pops later.
Corner bead goes on, then tape and three coats of compound across seams, corners and fasteners. Each coat needs to dry before the next, so this part sets the schedule.
Sanding with dust control, feathered edges, then a light check under work lights to catch anything that would show through paint.
You get walls ready for primer, and a clean site. If you'd rather not line up a painter, we can quote the painting too.
Tell us what needs fixing. We respond within 1-2 hours during business hours with a clear, honest quote. No pressure, no obligation.
It's quoted per job rather than one flat rate, because the price moves with square footage, ceiling height, how many corners and openings there are, and how accessible the space is. A basement with tall ceilings and lots of bulkheads costs more per square foot than a simple square room. The on-site quote is free and the price we give is the price you pay.
We can include framing in the quote. If your framing is already up, we'll check it before we board, because board hung over bowed or out-of-square studs shows every flaw once the paint goes on.
Yes. Moisture-resistant board goes in bathrooms and below-grade areas where damp is a factor. Standard board elsewhere. We'll tell you what we're using and why in the quote rather than leaving you to guess.
Level 4 is the standard finish and is right for most rooms under matte or eggshell paint. Level 5 adds a full skim coat over the whole surface for a mirror-smooth result, and it's worth it in rooms with big windows or pot lights, because raking light shows every imperfection. We'll flag rooms where Level 5 is the better call.
Hanging is the fast part. Finishing sets the timeline, because each coat of compound has to dry before the next one goes on, and that isn't something you can rush without it cracking later. We'll give you a realistic day count with the quote.
We can. Painting is quoted separately so you can decide. Plenty of customers have us finish to primer-ready and bring in their own painter, and that's fine too.
Yes. Offcuts, packaging and dust are our problem, not yours. We leave the site broom-clean.
